September's campout was a success.  The troop stayed at the Delaware National Guard Training Site at Bethany Beach, Del. over the weekend of September 19th through the 21st.  Plenty of fun at the beach followed by a grilled seafood feast.  Pictures may be viewed in the Photo Gallery.

As an added bonus to the weekend Committee Member, David Gaffney, finished his first Triathlon, the Bethany Beach Triathlon. Congratulations, David Gaffney!

October 9, 2014 Troop 55 will participate in a Community Day Fundraise sponsored by Hoss's Steak and Sea House of Enola, PA.  The public is welcomed.  You will need a dinner invitation to help Troop 55 raise money to provide the program the Scouts planned for the year and to purchase any equipment the troop needs.  Invitations maybe downloaded here. Feel free to make copies and give to your friends and family.  The invitation is good all day.

BSA Troop 55

BSA Troop 55 was founded on the principles that boys should be afforded the opportunity to engage in a challenging, exciting and fun educational experience. We believe that boys should be given the opportunity to lead and learn responsibility.  At Troop 55 we let the boys develop the program and take the reins of leadership with guidance from the adult leaders. We were chartered in November, 2011, and we are going strong due to an enthusiastic adult leadership committed to the program.
